V H "Toots" Breedlove, age 80, died Friday, August 8, 1998 in Wellington.

Services were held at to am Monday, August 31, 1998 in the First Baptist Church with Rev James McLeod, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Arrangements were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Curtis Southerland, Gary Phillips, Steve Hartman, Johnny Victor Mote, Ronnie Ward and Kent Riley. Honorary pallbearers were Palo Cummings, Leon Hartman, Velton Sorgee, Marshall Peters, Sam
Adams and Pat Godfrey.

Born April 17, 1918 in Harmon County. OK, Indian Territory, he came to Wellington at an early age. He attended Wellington schools and married Merle Bounds on June 6, 1940 in Hollis, OK. She died in 1996.

After serving in the Army during World War II, "Toots" operated the Breedlove Plumbing from 1946 until he retired in 1991. He was a member of the Wellington Masonic Lodge #763 and a Life member of ihc VFW.

Survivors include a son, Mickey Breedlove of Wellington; a brother. Robert Breedlove of Memphis; sister, Emma Atkins of Hollis and a grandson, Michael Breedlove and two great grandchildren, Can-Anna and Beau Breedlove, all of Wellington.

The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church, the Collingsworth General Hospital or the Masonic Lodge #763.
