The Wellington Leader January 10, 1946

A. A. Breedlove, a Wellington resident for the last 27 years, died Thursday, January 3. He had been in ill health for a number of years, and had gradually grown worse for the last three years.

A native Texan, Albert Andrew Breedlove was born in Bell County April 4, 1875. He grew up there and was married in that county to Miss Leeona Selby on December 29, 1897. Later the couple moved to Grayson County and in 1910 to Harmon County, Okla. Eight years later they came to Wellington.

Mr. Breedlove engaged in farming until he came here, after which he dealt in real estate. Mrs. Breedlove preceded him in death July 31, 1943. During the years he had lived here, Mr. Bretdlove had made many friends and an even wider circle of acquaintances.

He is survived by five sons and three daughters, Marion F. Breedlove of Hollis, Albert Breedlove and J. W. Breedlove of Amarillo; Robert Breedlove of Memphis and Virgil Breedlove of Wellington, now serving in the armed forces in the Pacific; Mrs. A. J. Adkins of Vinson, Mrs. 0. J. Cunningham and Mrs. Aubra Rennison of Stillwater, Okla.

Two sisters and a brother also survive, J. W. Breedlove of Fort Sumner, N. M., formerly of Wellington; Mrs. Tennie Stanford of Elmer, Okla., and Mrs. Dora Shipp.
