Izetta "Babe" Bennett, 79, of Hurricane, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, at home. She graduated from Calhoun County High School, Class of 1941, and was a member of Forrest Burdette Memorial United Methodist Church, Hurricane, and CCHS Alumni Association. Surviving are three sons, Bob and Harold Bennett, both of Hurricane, and Ron Bennett of Sissonville; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, and one son, Donnie. Services were held at Forrest Burdette Memorial U.M. Church.
