Miss Alma Thompson Shuman, 82, of 405 Curtis St., died Sunday, April 26, 1992, at Screven County Hospital, after an extended illness.
The funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson Funeral Home, with the Revs. David Buie and Leo Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Miss Shuman, a native of Screven County, was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She had worked for B. Karp's Ladies Wear, Savannah, and Naval Air Station Officers Club, Jacksonville, Fla., for 25 years before moving back to Sylvania in 1976.
Survivors include a sister, Dahlia Thompson Gross, Sylvania.
Pallbearers will be Alton Thompson, Hayword Thompson, Ed Friese, Jimmy Scott, Jesse Bazemore and Jesse Blakey.
