Mrs. Dahlia Thompson Gross, 86, died Sept. 6 at Syl-View Health Care Center.

She was born in Screven County and was a retired waitress and hostess. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Sylvania.

SURVIVORS: two nieces, Beverly T. Friese and Jeanene T. Scott, both of Sylvania; a nephew, Hayward Thompson of Sylvania; a sister-in-law, Vetta W. Thompson of Sylvania; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2 p.m. today in Screven County Memorial Cemetery in Sylvania.
