Albert Harve Keen was born in Phenix, then a "company" and now a "ghost town", but once a thriving city in Missouri, where family members worked in the quarry. Joining the Navy when he was 16 years old where he served as a fireman aboard naval vessels, upon discharge, he married on 29 May 1948 in Long Beach, CA, Patricia Lee Sires. Through hard work he became a master machinist and worked until the last few months of his life. He is the father of 3 daughters: Nancy Kay Edwards, Sharon Lee Hoeye & Susan Louise Krontz. Albert was a grandfather and great-grandfather, who loved his family, fishing and telling stories about the good old days where each year walking to school in the snow the distance got longer and the snow deeper.
He is greatly missed.
