Joseph E. Beth, 78 years old, passed away Monday night at his home at 1047 Ford Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. He was formerly a mill worker for the Stanley Milling Company for 31 years until retiring in 1949. Mr. Beth had been a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, for 40 years.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl B. Beth; two sons, Earl R. Beth of 216 South Valley Street and Lloyd J. Beth of 2326 North 43rd Street Terrace, both of Kansas City, Kansas; a daughter, Mrs. Helen A. Schumacker, of 428 North 33rd Street in Kansas City, Kansas; and two sisters, Mrs. Ola Good of 3217 East 55th Street and Mrs. Emma Bennett of Tulsa.
The family received friend at the Geo. H. Long Mortuary, where services were held. Burial followed in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
