Helen Alva Beth Schumacker, 89 years old, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008, at Truman Lakewood Medical Center. Born April 24, 1918, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Joseph and Pearl Douglas Beth. Helen worked at the Federal Reserve Bank and was retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lloyd Beth Sr. and Earl Beth. She was survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Michael Dennis of Blue Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Orrene Schumacker of Stillwell; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Private graveside services were held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Arrangements and burial at Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home.
