Mrs. Lula P. Taylor, 76, of Shady Grove Community near Sikes, died August 29, 1970 at 10 a.m. in Columbia Heights Hospital in Columbia, La.
Mrs. Taylor was the last survivor of the Pace family and was the widow of the late Norvel [sic Norval] Taylor, who preceded her in death by a year and a few days. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hebron Baptist Church, near Sikes, with Rev. Glenn Griffin and Rev. Bob Castle officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.
