"MORRIS - Hobart H. Cole, 91, a life-time resident of this county, died Sunday night at the home of Lewis Light of Morris, where he had been living for the past few years. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday at Sloan's Funeral Home, Morris. The Rev. Samuel Little, pastor of Morris Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Hillington Cemetery here. Mr. Cole was born on May 30, 1857, at Morris, the son of Richard and Elizabeth (Rockwell) Cole. He was married to Jennie Lull on May 24, 1894. A farmer, Mr. Cole operated a farm between Morris and Gilbertsville for many years. He retired several years ago. He was a member of Gilbertsville Presbyterian Church, Morris Masons, and was a former director of the Morris Fair Association for several years."
