Born October 28, 1927, at Newton Hamilton, she was a daughter of the late Harry F. and Margaret A. (Stong) Zeigler. She was twice married: first, the Jack Dubestski, then to James J. Wallace, both of whom preceded her in death.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Reed of Dry Run and Mrs. Roy (Lucy) Hipp, Rockhill Furnace, and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Any (Emma) Runk of Mount Union; five brothers, George Leroy Zeigler, Mount Union; Robert Zeigler and Edward Zeigler, both of Allenport; Ralph Zeigler, Sparks, Nev.; and David Foster Zeigler, Dry Run; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were a grandson; a brother, Billie Zeigler; and two sisters, Mildred Carlisle and Dorothy Kester.
Mrs. Wallace was of the Methodist faith.
An outdoorswoman, she particularly enjoyed hunting and fishing.
For a number of years, Mrs. Wallace was employed at Motel 22 and Blue Juniata Post 5754, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mount Union. She also worked at Robin Footwear, Mount union, and, most recently, was a domestic caregiver.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 13, at the Robert D. Heath Funeral Home, Mount union, with the Rev. John Semple officiating. Interment will be in Mount Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, from 7-9 p.m., and Friday, from 9 a.m. until the hour of the services.
