Harry Foster Ziegler, 70, of A-3 Chestnut Terrace, Mount Union, died at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, August 2, 1967, at his home. Death was unexpected.

He was born September 27, 1896 in Juniata County, a son of Levi and Nancy (Wilman) Ziegler and was united in marriage to Margaret Stong, April 25, 1917 by the Rev. E. M. Morgan in the Lutheran parsonage, Mifflintown.

Surviving are his wife and the following children: Mrs. Andrew (Emma) Runk, Hemstead, L.I.; Mrs. Edward (Mildred ) Carlisle, in California; Ralph Ziegler, Sparks, Nev.; George Ziegler and Mrs. Evelyn Wallace, both of Mount Union; Robert Ziegler, Cedar Crest; David Ziegler, Dry Run, R.D.; Edward Ziegler, Mifflintown; 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Two children preceded him in death.

Also surviving is a sister, Miss Ennis Ziegler, Lewistown, R.D.

Ziegler was a member of the Port Royal Methodist Church and retired five years ago with 13 years service at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 6, from Clark's funeral home, Mount union, with the Rev. Frank S. Crawford officiating. Interment will be made in the IOOF Cemetery, Mount Union.
