Charlie was born and raised on a farm south of Lincolnville, Wabash County, IN. He graduated from LaFontaine High School. He was in the US Army during WWII. He married Theresa Muzzillo on June 14, 1944, in Garrett, IN. He retired from General Tire & Rubber Co., Wabash, IN, where he was Manager of the Mold Shop.

Charlie and Theresa moved to Fort Myers, FL, following his retirement. He loved to play golf. He is survived by his widow, Theresa; one son, Charles Edward, Warsaw, IN; one daughter, Rose Mary, Arlington, VA; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 18, 2007, at 10 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, arrangements by National Cremation Society and Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to St. Theresa Catholic Church or Hope Hospice.
