Peter Shunk.
Peter Shunk, a well known resident of Westville, died last week, following over for years of invalidism. Mr. Shunk was born July 28, 1832, near Summerset, Pa., and came to Laporte county in 1852. Deceased served three years in the civil war and was wounded four times in the battle of the wilderness. He leaves a wife, one son, four sisters and four brothers.
