Kathleen Houghton, 1511 Canterbury Trail, Mount Pleasant, died Sunday at Central Michigan Community Hospital. A life-long resident of the area, she was 62.

Services will be Wednesday at 11 p.m, at the Sacred Heart Parish, Mount Pleasant. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Mount Pleasant. A scripture service is set for Tuesday at 8 p.m. at the Lux-Rush Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant.

Mrs. Houghton was born on Nov. 1, 1917 in Mount Pleasant to Hugh and Mary Jane (Clare) Campbell.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Maxine) Shepard of Mount Pleasant, and Mrs. Henry (Dorothy) Briggs of Midland; and six brothers, Donald J. of Blanchard, Clare J. of Lansing, Robert H. of Rosebush, Carlyle J. of Lansing, Myles W. of Mount Pleasant and Hugh E. of Midland.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald.

The family requests donations be made to the Sacred Heart Parish Memorial Fund.
