MAN, DIES HERE
Charles H. Lane, age 73 years, for 33 years a resident of Kouts, died Sunday night at 11:05 o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carl Bradney, 204 Roosevelt Road, where he had resided for the last three years. He had been in ill health for a number of years with complications of diseases.
Mr. Lane was born at Knox, Ind., on Sept. 28, 1861, a son of John and Margaret Lane, both deceased.
Surviving are his widow and five children, Mrs. Carl Bradney, V. C. Lane and Mrs. Jack Bucher, of Valparaiso, E. H. Lane, of Bluffton, Ind., and Lester C. Lane, of Warsaw, Ind. He also leaves three brothers, John M. and Ray Lane of Chicago, and George Lane, of Kouts, and one sister, Mrs. Albert Borders, of Logansport.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Kosanke funeral home in Kouts. Burial will be in Kouts cemetery.
