Grandma Alice spent her childhood in South New Berlin, New York. She married Max Eugene Brownell on November 12, 1928 they had 6 children together. She was a member of the Church of Nazarene. She was a former employee of Remington arms, Kraft foods for 18 years, and operated a restaurant. Her sister Henrietta was visiting her in the hospital on March 7,1985 when she died in the waiting room of the hospital. Her funeral was on the 10th and that is when Alice died. Alice died after a long illness. Rev. Steve Blanchard pastor of South Edmeston Community Church officiated. Dakin Funeral Home in New Berlin, New York.
