Born May 27, 1937 in St. Joseph, he was the son of Aden Anderson and Ruth Barnett Wood.
He moved to Ogden as a child and attended grade and high schools there.
He was married in Catlin in 1958 to Miss Alice Jo Clark, who survives and resides in Catlin.
Also surviving are four children, Roby Jo, Michelle, Eric, and Nichhola, all of Catlin; his mother and father of Ogden; three sisters, Mrs. Delores Harper, of Champaign, Mrs. Sheryl Reynolds and Mrs. Carol Rhoden, both of Urbana; and three brothers, Richard of Urbana, William of Chicago, and David of Ogden.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Catlin, the Elks Lodge of Danville, Danville Scottish Rite, the Shrine and the Ogden Christian Church. He was employed by the R. C. Cola Company of Chicago.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Christian Church of Ogden, with the Rev. Don Strohl officiating. Burial will be in The Grandview Memorial Cemetery of Champaign. Friends may call at the Freese Funeral home in St. Joseph from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Masonic services will be Sunday at 8p.m. at the funeral home.
