Wilhelmina, also called Minnie or May, was the daughter of Civil War veteran Eugene Regan and Isabelle Finlayson. She was the second child of four daughters and four sons. She was born and raised in Bristol, IL. She married Frank A. Anderson in Illinois where the had one son, Gordon Emerson Anderson who was born in 1894. Sadly, her son Gordon (who had served in World War I) and her daughter-in-law Lillian Leifheit Anderson both died in April 1919, leaving behind a three year old son, Russell Roy Anderson (Minnie's only grandson). Her husband Frank died the following year, in 1920. To add to her grief, her grandson Russell Roy Anderson died on Valentine's Day in 1929 in Manito, Illinois at the age of 12. At some point, Minnie left Illinois, and was living in Los Angeles, California where she died October 9, 1948. It is unknown where she is buried.
