Hallie "Hal" Pattillo was the daughter of Henry Augustus Pattillo and Henrietta H. "Hallie" Hall Pattillo. She was born about February 1878 in Rome, Floyd Co., Georgia.
In 1880 she lived with her parents in DeSoto, Floyd Co., Georgia. Because of her mother's death in 1898, she was quietly married on November 23, 1898 in Atlanta, Floyd Co., Georgia to Dr. James Hardin Crawford, an ear, nose and throat doctor in Atlanta. They made their home at 165 Peachtree Circle in Atlanta. Five children were born of this marriage: Hallie Pattillo, James H. Jr., Josephine, Henrietta Elizabeth T. and Robert Pattillo.
Hallie passed away, January 26, 1955 in Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia. Her burial location is at the Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Fulton Co., Georgia in Section 5 of this cemetery.
