Mary Sullivan Taylor, 95, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, at Harpeth Terrace Convalescent Center. Mrs. Taylor was born in Williamson County, daughter of the late Zacharia and Annis Beard Sullivan, and made her home in Franklin. She was retired from Southern Manufacturing as a seamstress and was a member of Franklin Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband of 76 years, Herbert Taylor; three daughters, Barbara Rahrer and her husband Malvern of Brentwood, Elizabeth Fox of Franklin and Vera Phillips of Smyrna; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held today, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Phil Phillips, Jeffery Phillips, Joe Phillips, Brad Rahrer, David Rahrer, Josh Rahrer, Jimmy Phillips and Douglas Hood will serve as pallbearers.
