William Green Sullivan, 62, for many years a well known blacksmith near Overbey's Store on Carter's Creek Road, died Saturday morning at 1 o'clock following a long illness. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Elder Herbert A. Robinson were from Berea Church of Christ at Southall. Interment was in the Anglin family cemetery at Craigfield. A native of Williamson County, son of the late Zack and Annie Beard Sullivan, he spent his entire life here, a highly respected citizen and a member of the Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lorene Vaughn Sullivan, and ten children, Mrs. Louise Polk, Mrs. Georgia Mai Beard, Raymond, J. C. and Eugene, all of whom live near Franklin; Mrs. Gladys Martin, of Arrington; Mrs. Hazel Ambrose, of Thompson Station; Homer C. Sullivan, of Bon Aqua; Glenn Sullivan, of Carter's Creek, and Elvis Sullivan, with the Marines, stationed as Parris Island, S. C.; sisters and brothers, Mrs. Emma Mahan and Mrs. Mary Taylor of Nashville; Mrs. Lonia Kennedy, of Bon Aqua; Mrs. Annie Mealer, of McEwen; Mrs. Rosie Johnson, of Thompson Station; J. Harlin Sullivan, of Boston; Harry Sullivan of Tullahoma, and Herschel Sullivan, of Detroit; 31 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers were Glenn and Beasley
