Ruby Stinson Jones, 94, of Scottsville died at 5:10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Kindred Health Care Rosewood in Bowling Green. The Scottsville, KY native was a homemaker, former employee of Washington Overall Manufacturing and member of Maysville Missionary Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Fred Marion Stinson and Harriet Cornelia Hicks Stinson and wife of the late Paul Hughes Jones.



She is survived by 1 daughter: Pauletta Saylors Miertl and husband, Donn, Bowling Green, KY;

1 brother: Joe Fred Stinson, Scottsville, KY;

5 sisters: Jewell Turner, Lorene Witcher and Katie Shrum and husband, Howard, all of Indiana; Betty Matlock, Bowling Green, KY; and Clorene Clark, Franklin, KY;

2 grandchildren: Veronica Railey and husband, Stacy, and Bro. Tim Saylors and wife, Julie, all of Scottsville, KY;

5 great grandchildren: Jessica Carter, Jordan Railey, Kylie Saylors, Timmy Saylors and Nellie Brooke Saylors.

She as preceded in death by 3 sisters: Anna Grace, Helen Shrum and Carol Faye Stinson and 1 brother: Max Stinson.



Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday at Goad Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Saylors, Bro. Ron Spurgeon and Bro. Randal Carter officiating and burial in the Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Maysville Cemetery. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
