Kenneth Wayne Andrews, Sr., 75, Russellville, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Russellville Hospital.
He was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. He spent many years as a heavy equipment operator in bridge construction; however his best job was simply being "Dad".
The visitation will be from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. Officiating will be Bro. Josh Miller. Burial will be at Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lacey & Grace Andrews; brothers, Billy, John, Jack, Bob, Theo, & Charlie Andrews; and granddaughter, Katie Andrews.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris Pace Andrews; sons, Wayne Andrews (wife, Karen), Mark Andrews, all of Russellville; William Andrews (wife, Lori) of Cullman, Joe Andrews (wife, Dawn) of Rock Hill, SC; daughter, Julie Bryant, Phil Campbell; grandchildren, Rachel Hall (husband, Justin), Lindsey Smith (husband, Ryan), Logan Andrews, Aaron Andrews, Seth Andrews, Luke Andrews, Josh Andrews, Mattie Bryant; step-grandchild, Michael Gamble; great-grandchildren, Hazel Hall, Sylvie Smith; brother, Paul Andrews; sisters, Mary Jane Hellums (husband, Tulen), Linda Keeton (husband, Charlie), Talma Hand (husband, Ralph); and a host of nieces & nephews.
