CONCORDIA - The funeral for Jesse E. Fraser, 91, Concordia, will be at 10 am Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. Loren Werth officiating.
Mr. Fraser, a retired farmer-stockman and longtime resident of the Concordia community, died Wednesday at St. Joseph's hospital, Concordia. He was born Jan. 24, 1884, at Bourbonnais, Ill., and came to the Concordia area as a child. He was a member of the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Moose lodge and the Elks lodge.
Survivors are 2 daughters, Miss Lorene Fraser, Concordia, and Mrs. Maxine Stephens, Denver, Colo.: a foster son, Dennis E., Denver; a sister, Sr. Eveline Fraser, Concordia; 19 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The parish Rosary will be recited at 7 pm Thursday at the Chaput-Buoy funeral home, Concordia, and a K of C Rosary will be at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in the Catholic cemetery, Concordia.
