F. X. Fraser was born in Province of Quebec, Canada, and died at the age of 66 years, 9 months and 22 days. When he was five years old his parents moved to Illinois where he was married in 1868 to Miss Flora Barnard.
In 1885 he and his family moved to Kansas and settled on a farm seven miles south west of Concordia, on Wolf Creek, where they resided until last May when they moved to town.
Mr. Fraser leaves a widow, twelve children and nineteen grandchildren, two brothers and one sister, to mourn his death.
His sister and brothers and ten of his children will be here for the funeral.
Mr. Fraser was an upright honest man, greatly respected by all who knew him, and his family is one of the most prominent of the French families in this community.
