Obituary - Miss Jennie Simpson, a resident of this village for over forty years and an employee of the Patchogue-Plymouth mills for almost an equal length of time, died Wednesday at her home, 25 Jayne Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, the Rev. Hanington Wilson of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Miss Simpson, who was 69 years old, is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Terry of Medford Avenue, Patchogue, and Mrs. Josephine Gilby, of Jamaica. She was a member of Betty Stark Council, Daughters of Liberty, a Past Noble Grand of Dorothea Rebekah lodge and financial secretary for the latter organization for many years.
