Daughter of Thomas Simpson and Mary J. C. Lewis, wife of Samuel Young Mott and mother of Carrie Emma, Blanch Isabelle, William Simpson, Alton Young, Tillie Vancliff, and Oliver Orrin Mott.

In 1860, Mustafbia Simpson, aged 1, was living in New York, NY, in the home of her parents, Thomas Simpson, aged 41, and Mary J. Simpson, aged 36, with siblings, Josephine Simpson, aged 17, William Simpson, 15, Margaret Simpson, 13, Marietta Simpson, 7, and Carrie Simpson, aged 7. Also living in the household was Fannie VanClief, aged 45. Thomas was shown to be an expressman.

In 1870, Mustafbia Simpson, aged 12, was living in Brooklyn, NY, in the home of her parents, Thomas Simpson, aged 51, and Mary J. Simpson, aged 47, with siblings, William, 24, Mary E., 16, Carrie E., 14, and Fannie Simpson, aged 5. Also living in the household was Fannie L. VanCleef, aged 54.

Obituary - Mrs. M. Florence Mott, wife of S. Youngs Mott, died last week at the home of her sisters, the Misses Carrie and Jennie Simpson on Jayne Avenue, Patchogue, at the age of 64 years. For many years the deceased was a resident of Selden and was an active worker in the Coram Methodist Church. She leaves her husband, two daughters, Mrs. M.A. Miller of Seattle, and Miss Blanche Mott, of Patchogue, and two sons, William S. Mott, of Oregon, and Alton Y. Mott, of Richmond Hill, besides four sisters.
