Jennie M. (Sterner) Krout, 93, of Manchester, formerly of Glen Rock, died at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Samuel A. Krout.
The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Viewing will be 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Krout was born in Codorus Township. She was the daughter of the late Conrad D. and Elizabeth (Myers) Sterner.
She resided in the Manchester area for the past 24 years after moving from Glen Rock in 1969.
Mrs. Krout is survived by two daughters, Lorraine J. Krout and Jacqueline R. Krout, both of Manchester; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Krout was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine Krout.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Thomas D. Hartley, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Rock.Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 6, Glen Rock, 17327.
