Donald W. Weddle was born to James C. Weddle and Lona Irene (Hayes) Weddle in 1933.

He was married to his beloved wife, Martha (Wiles) Weddle in 1950. He served his country as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea and Japan during the Korean War. He had been employed by the Link-Belt Company, L.S. Ayres, and until retiring in 1998, he had been senior partner of Weddle and Buntyn Brokerage.

He was a member of Bridgeport Masonic Lodge, where he served as Master in 1965. He was a member of Bridgeport Lodge #162, Eastern Star, Speedway United Methodist Church, Bridgeport Royal Arch Masons, and served as High Priest in 1966 at Indianapolis Scottish Rite Indianapolis Valley.

He is survived by his one and only beloved wife of 62 years, Martha; son, Richard (Marsha) Weddle; daughter, Melinda Dillehay; grandsons, Shawn Dillehay and Clint Weddle; and granddaughter, Courtney Sommers.
