The tall, weather-worn obelisk-shaped gravestone that is in this cemetery is NOT for this Pryor Lee VanBebber, born in 1840. It is believed to be for the Pryor Lee VanBebber who was born in 1866.
The Reference Staff at Missouri State archives checked pre-1910 death listings and found out that Pryor's death is not recorded. That would mean that he does not have a death certificate. If he is in this cemetery he would be back in the VanBebber section in an unmarked grave. All the VanBebbers back in that section have unmarked graves. All that is there is the VanBebber family marker. His wife Mary is buried in that section. Also his son John.
Another idea is that he was buried on the family farm. We have no way of knowing if that may be the case. Until good information is discovered to solve this mystery, we will leave him in Kincaid cemetery.
The latest information I have uncovered is that according to the...mundia.com...genealogy site, Pryor is indeed buried in this cemetery.
