ARKDELPHIA--Irene Elizabeth Currie Jester, 75, of Arkadelphia, died Friday, October 9, 1992 in a Little Rock Hospital.
Born March 1, 1917 in Briscoe County, TX., she was the daughter of George H. and Patience W. Raiford Currie. She was a homemaker, a member of Second Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmie F. Jester of Fort Smith, and Gary "Butch" Jester of Little Rock; two daughters, Joyce Berryman of Tulsa and Kay Brooks of Irving TX.; one brother, John Currie of Turkey, TX; one sister, Sue Vanwinkle of Amarillo, Tx; thirteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shelby Cowling officiating.
Burial will be in Unity Cemetery near Arkadelphia.
Memorials are designated as Second Baptist Church of Arkadelphia.
