Obituary: Funeral services were held for Patience Wyatt Raiford Currie at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the First Baptist Church in Turkey. Officiating were Rev. Dale Bryant, Pastor of Hope Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Vergil Smith, Pastor of the First Baptist Church. Buried in Quitaque Cemetery under the direction of Eudy-Seale Funeral Home of Turkey. Age 84, she died at 7:03 a.m Sunday at Clarendon rest home. Survivors include two daughters, Irene Jetter of Bradley, Ar. & Mrs. Susie Van Winkle of Amarillo, Tx., six sons Herbert of Littlefield, Jim of Amarillo, & Ellis, John , Will & Albert, all of Turkey, Tx. 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She had lived at Turkey since 1907.
