Ellis Currie's Services Set
Ellis Currie, 74, died Thursday in Plainview Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2:30 p.m, Saturday in the First Baptist Church in Turkey with the Rev. Charles Harris officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey directed by Funeral Home.
Currie was born in Gonzales, Texas and had been a Turkey resident since 1917. He was a farmer and a veteran of World War I. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Nona; five brothers, Jim of Amarillo; Herbert of Littlefield; John, Will and Al, all of Turkey and two sister; Mrs. Susie Van Winkle of Amarillo and Mrs. Irene Jester of Arkansas
