Yesterday afternoon, about 3 o'clock, in the fullness of years and surrounded by her family, calmly and peacefully passed to her eternal rest and the bosom of her God, whom she served faithfully in this world, Mrs. Agnes Laughran [Loughran].
The decased was one of the oldest inhabitants of Central, having come here in 1864. Her family consisted of five brothers and two sisters, all of whom survive her. A truly christian woman, respected for all those christian traits of character which makes the life of woman admirable, Mrs. Laughran descended to the grave amidst the regrets of all who knew her. Her death was as calm and peaceful as her life.
