Donna was born in Jeromesville on July 17, 1928, to David Clifford and Myrte Lucille (née Hartsel) Bull. She has been a resident of the Ashland area all her life.
She worked at Cresco Manufacturing Co., A.L. Garber Co., Ashland Rubber Co. and retired from Pleasant Street School, where she worked as a noon aide for the school.
She was a member of Ashland Eagles Club 2178. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo, going to garage sales, auctions and her children's and grandchildren's events.
On April 26, 1947, at Church of God in Ashland, Donna married Henry "Fred" Wittman, who preceded her in death on April 27, 2011.
She is survived by four daughters, Janet L. (Bill) Coffman, Deb. J. (Jim) Rickett, Linda L. (Glenn) Hanning and Sue (John) Barker, all of Ashland; seven sons, David E. (Linda) Wittman of Ashland, Gary L. (Barb) Wittman of Polk, Tom L. (Toni) Wittman of Ashland, Anthony F. (Karen) Wittman of Ashland, Bill W. (Ruth) Wittman of Jeromesville, Buddy L. Wittman of Ashland and Glen H. (Sandy) Wittman, of Ashland; along with 34 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Green of Ashland.
Along with her loving husband, Henry, Donna was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mary Pearce; one brother, John Bull; and a great-granddaughter, Katlyn Rae Orr.
Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home with the Rev. Scot Myers officiating. Burial will be in Ashland County Memorial Park. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012, at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
