Virginia O. Green, 95, of Ashland, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at Crystal Care Center in Ashland.
Virginia was born in Mohican Township, Ashland County, Ohio on October 22, 1926, to the late David Clifford and Myrtle Lucille (Hartsel) Bull and had been a resident of Ashland her entire lifetime.
She had worked at Cresco Manufacturing as a seamstress and retired from National Latex Company in 1991. She had also volunteered in the afternoons for the Ashland City Schools.
Virginia and her husband, Glenn, were foster parents for many children over the years. They also were managers/caretakers of the Terrace Lake Campground during the 1970's.
She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, Line Dancing and traveling.
On May 27, 1945, she was married to Glenn Herbert Green. He preceded her in death on September 12, 1984.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Glenn H. Green, two sisters, Donna Wittman and Mary Pearce and a brother, John Bull.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home with the Reverend Donald Earlenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Denbow-Gasche Funeral Home.
