Ruby Patton Tyree
Ruby Patton Tyree, 91, of Austin, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2002.

"Fear not, for I have redeemed you:
I have called you by name, you are mine.
When you pass through the waters I will be with you.
And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you:
When you walk through the fires, You shall not be burned.
And the flame shall not consume you.
You are precious in my eyes, and honored.
And I love you." Isiah 43:1-2

Her family will cherish the memories of her love and caring spirit. She enjoyed cooking and providing for her family, friends and pets. She had a wonderful green thumb that could care for any plant or flower. She will be truly missed.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002 at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. Melton Odom officiating.
