He was a fisherman.
He is survived by daughters; Mrs. Julia Ahl and Mrs. Ruby Crawford both of Tobinsport and Shirley Ann Gude of Evansville; sons, Ernest of Evansville and Edward (MIA Korea); sisters, Mrs. Clara Miller, Mrs. Violet Smith, and Mrs. Julia Bacon all of Evansville, Mrs. Laura Wilson of Tell City and Mrs. Rose Stiles of Cannelton; brothers, Orval and Joe Gude both of Blytheville, Ark.
Burial was in the Miller Cemetery in Perry County.
