CANNELTON - Erma Lee Weatherholt, 89, died Monday, July 26, 2004, at Beverly Healthcare in Tell City.
She was born April 23, 1915 in Louisville, Ky, the daughter to the late George Porter Haley and Mary Emma (Halliburton) Haley Stulck. She married Frank E. Weatherholt Jan. 25, 1944, in Cannelton. He died in 1985. Also preceding her in death were four children, Christine Gude in 1936, Edward 'Buddy' Gude missing in action in Korea in 1950, Julia Gude Ahl in 1958 and Randall Weatherholt in 1974; four brothers, George, Kirk, Prentice and Carl Haley and five grandchildren, Bryon Weatherholt, Carly Crawford, and three in infancy.
She retired in 1980 from Carborundum in Tell City and had formerly worked at the Indiana Cotton Mill in Cannelton. She enjoyed quilting and cooking for her family.
Graveside services will be held at 11 am Thursday (today) at the Lamb Cemetery in Tobinsport. Pastor Sharon Summers will officiate.
