Deceased Name: John M. Shuey

TOWER CITY John M. Shuey, 69, of 227 E. Grand Ave. died Thursday in Polyclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg.

He was retired from Shaffer Trucking, New Kingstown, and from Penn Dye, Pine Grove, and was a member of the American Legion in Tower City and Williamstown, Tower City Fire Company, Williamstown VFW and American Textile Union.
Surviving are his wife, W. Beatrice Keisling Shuey; two sons, Daniel R. and Bruce D., both of Tower City; three daughters, Coralee A. Weaver of Elizabethville, Nina J. Rubendall of Sheridan and Jackie L. MacLean of Dayton; a sister, Gloria Tothero of Wernersville; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Corl Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel.
