TOWER CITY - Beatrice "Bea" Shuey, 81, formerly of Tower City passed away Wednesday at the Manor of the Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
Born in Tower City, February 10, 1930 a daughter of the late Raymond and Nora Shomper Keisling.
Bea retired from the garment industry and had also worked at the cafeteria at the Williams Valley School District.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City and the Swatara Eastern Star. She had also volunteered for many actives at her church and with the Williams Valley Food Pantry.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, John, 1995.
Surviving are her children, Daniel R. Shuey and his wife Becky, Tower City; Bruce D. Shuey and his wife Mary, Jonestown; Coralee A. Zarker and her husband John, Etters; Nina J. Rubendall and her husband Glen "Wes", Tower City and Jackie L. Shuey, Pittsburgh. She is also survived by nine Grandchildren nine Great Grandchildren that she adored.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 26th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Dave Yost. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
