Apparently she was also known as Martha as well as Emma. On her oldest (Sara) child's death certificate (see photo), she is listed (Martha Chewning Brown) as Sara's mother. She was also the mother of Clarke Allen Brown (1855-1912), Dan W. Brown (1857-1935), Frasier Brown (1859-?), and Fannie (1859-1913). It seems Fannie & Frasier were twins. Fraser is listed in the John Alexander Brown family in the 1870 census suggesting that he lived to be at least 11-12 years old.
