Sumter, March 5 [1913] - Mrs Frances Marion Hicks, wife of Henry Jefferson Hicks, died Saturday at her home on West Liberty Street. The funeral services were Sunday at the cemetery and were conducted by the Rev J M Rogers of Broad Street Methodist Church.
Mrs Hicks is survived by Mr Hicks, two sisters, Mrs H F Dollard of Sumter and Mrs A L Dyson of Columbia, one brother, J A Brown of Paxville, and a half brother, D W Brown of Sumter, and two adopted daughters, Mrs Ellen Beach and Mrs J M Clark.
