Arnie C. Adcock
ROANOKE) Services for Arnie C. Adcock, 90, of Roanoke were Saturday, Aug. 15, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Don Quick officiating. Burial was in White's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Adcock died Wednesday, Aug. 13, at East Alabama Regional Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Brazell Adcock of Roanoke; two sons, Millard Adcock of LaGrange, Ga., and Murphy Adcock of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; a sister Liza Burdette of LaGrange; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A native of Randolph County, Mr. Adcock was born Sept. 19, 1912, son of Dee Eston Adcock and Tweedie May Adcock. He had been employed in the construction industry and was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert D. Adcock.
Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
