EDWARD DOERN, 50, a former resident of Jericho, died at his home in Waukesha, Saturday, following an illness of several months.
Mr. Doern was born in Jericho, June 27, 1880, and lived there until a year and a half ago, when he moved to Waukesha.

He is survived by his widow, whose maiden name was Miss Amanda Baltz of Calumet; nine children, Mrs. Jacob Hansen of Jericho; Amelia, Lena, William, Myron, Maurice, Corinne, Delores and Geraldine, at home; five sisters, Mrs. E. Sattler, of Calumet Harbor; Mrs. Ed Rothman of Garnet; Mrs. Thomas Whitby of Jericho; Mrs. Elizabeth Diedrich and Mrs. Fred Thuerwachter of Calumetville; three brothers, Dr. Wm. Doern of Milwaukee; Dr. Robert Doern, of Stockbridge; and Henry Doern of Garnet. Four children and one grandchild preceded him in death.

Burial was at Garnet Monday afternoon. The Calumetville lodge of Modern Woodmen had charge of the funeral. Rev. Worthman of Kiel Reformed church, officiated. Pallbearers were Reuben Pfaff, Herman Beyer, Art Beyer, Franklin Rather, Arnold Doern, Arno Amel and Glen Rothman.
