She was born on Aug. 7, 1911, in Calumetville, the daughter of Edward and Amanda Baltz Doern.
On Nov. 26, 1932, Lena married Clemens Heimermann at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jericho. She was a member of St. Mary's and then Shepherd of the Hills Parish in Eden.
Lena operated farms and a boarding house, was a homemaker and owned a tavern in Waucousta. She then was employed at Bestt Roller in Fond du Lac until retirement She loved to travel and be with her family.
Her hobbies included playing cards and watching birds.
Survivors include her son, Marvin of Birnamwood; her daughters, Donna Voigt (special friend Norman Gudex) of West Bend and Joanne Qohn) Clark of Waucousta; her daughters-in-law, Marilyn Heimermann of Lomira and Gerri Heimermann of Rosendale; her sister-in-law, Josephine Doerri of Milwaukee; 18 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great-great- Heimermann grandson; cousins; nieces; and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clemens on Feb. 12, 1979; her son, Leroy of Lomira; two grandsons; six brothers; and six sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, Eden. The Rev. Charles Wester will officiate, and burial will follow at St Mary's Cemetery, Eden. Visitation: Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at Twohig Funeral Home in Campbellsport, and from noon until the time of service on Friday, Dec. 23, at the church.
Memorials are appreciated to St. Agnes Foundation Hospice Hope. Twohig Funeral Home of Campbellsport, is serving the family.
