William A. Bollinger

William A. Bollinger of Lehighton R. 3 died yesterday in Palmerton Hospital. He was 65.

Bollinger was a retired employee of the New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton.

Born in Franklin Township, Carbon County, he was a son of the late Nathan and Alvesta (Diehl) Bollinger. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Towamensing, and its council.

Surviving are his widow, Ida (Green) Bollinger; four daughters, Arvilla, wife of Francis McMorrow of Stamford, Conn.; Alice, wife of Kenneth Moll of Coopersburg R. 1; Erma, wife of Ellsworth Hazelton of Lehighton R. 3. and Marlene, wife of Leonard Smith of Martins Creek; three sons, Carvin of Sinking Springs, Lawrence of Lehighton R. 4 and Clayton of Indian River City, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Jacob Serfass of Palmerton R. 1 and Mrs. Guy Smith of Kunkletown R. 2, and five brothers, John, Charles and Richard, all of Palmerton R. 1, Franklin of Palmerton R. 2 and Mahlon of Lehighton R. 4.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kegel Funeral Home, 145 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Viewing will be 7-9 p.m. tomorrow.
