Funeral services for Anna Pauline Aase, 84, were held Feb. 21 at the Gol Lutheran Church with the Rev. V. A. Jensen officiating. Interment took place at the Gol Cemetery. Kenneth Flom sang "God Will Take Care of You" and "Beautiful Saviour," accompanied by Mrs. Victor Radtke, the church organist. Six grandsons, David and Brian Aase, Barton Beach, and Paul, Mark, and David Huseth, served as pallbearers. The daughter of Christen and Anna Selberg Remold, she was born at Kenyon on Dec. 9, 1887. On March 9, 1912, she married Ole A. Aase of Kenyon. They resided on a farm in the Kenyon area until 1955, when they moved into the village. Mrs. Aase, who passed away at Rice County District One Hospital in Faribault on Feb. 17, is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Norma) Huseth of Kenyon; four sons, Oswald of Califormia, Kermit of Brainerd, and Donald and Wallace of Kenyon; nineteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Her parents, her husband, one son, Sigurd, and one daughter, Mrs. Barton (Ardette) Beach, preceded her in death.
