MAGGIE WARD

Services for Mrs. Maggie Ward, 83, Stroud, were Monday, Jan. 2, at Stroud Curry Funeral Home. Rev. Don Wilburn and Rev. Bill White officiated.

Mrs. Ward was born Feb. 12, 1900 in Missouri, the daughter of John and Olive Proffitt Seymour. She died Friday, Dec. 30, at a Stroud hospital.

She married Jack Ward in 1933 at Stroud and lived there since. He preceded her in death in 1964. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Cliff Walston, one brother, four sisters and one son, Bobby Walston.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the Baptist Church.

Survivors include two brothers, Buck Seymour, Stroud, and Cleo Seymour, Liberal, Kansas, two sisters, Eva Hilbert, Depew, and Ada Taylor, Kellyville; and several nieces and nephews.

Interment was at Stroud Cemetery.
